I know this is a little late (that's the story of my life), but I just wanted to thank all of the Fathers in my life, especially Kent. Kent truly is such an amazing father. He feeds the kids, baths them, reads to them, gives them airplane rides, takes them outside to "help" him (even though it adds more work for him), gets up with them in the middle of the night, wakes up with them in the morning and changes their diapers and feeds them breakfast, and most of all he is SO patient with them. Kent is amazing and I always love to watch him with his children. Happy Father's day Honey! We love you! (Lily just begs for her "Da-eee", she's a real Daddy's girl).

This summer we have been hard at work in our yard. First we weeded EVERYTHING (it doesn't sound very daunting, but we have flower beds that border all around the house and all around our property line). NOTE TO SELF: What was I thinking when we landscaped the yard??? I would go out during the day (while Lily was asleep) and weed for about an hour. Then after the kids went to bed at night we would go out and weed for another 1 1/2 hours. I am on my 3rd pair of weeding gloves! (disregard the wood in the middle of the grass). 
Then came the mulch. To date we have unloaded TWELVE, yes that is 12, truckloads of mulch into our beds and our garden. 
Next was the garden. Oh how I love my garden. Probably because I'm already picking basil and rosemary from it.
After the garden came the rock steps. Kent decided they were too close to the rock wall and so he moved them. Then we landscaped them and added mulch. 
My FAVORITE thing about the rock steps is that there is a little path leading away from the steps into our strawberry patch. That Man of mine! He works miracles!
And currently Kent is working on the deck. Remember the deck? It was made out of TREX. The wood that you will never have to take care of. Well, there was one lot of TREX that was recalled (the wood is breaking apart) and now we get to replace it. I say we, I really mean Kent.
So when you see us next time and you notice that we have great farmer's tans, you'll know why. I'm sure Kent is looking forward to Winter!
I know what you're thinking, "Summer isn't here! It keeps raining!". But we LOVE the rain! I wish it would rain at least one day a week. I have been leaving my window open just so that I can hear the thunder and lightning and smell the rain. Here are some pics of Luke and Lily wearing sunglasses. Luke likes to put them on himself so they usually end up upside-down. 
And when we put them on Lily, she didn't want to take them off! She left them on for at least a 1/2 an hour! They're so silly! I just love my kids!

Thanks Honey for all of your hard work (and Ken-Kent's dad, for helping) the stairs look awesome. I will post pics of the stairs another time.
I really think Lily is Julie's little girl, only born to me. Lily LOVES Julie. More than she even loves me. One night she wouldn't let me put her pj's on, she wanted Julie to do it. Last week she woke up from a nap so stinking ornery! She wouldn't stop whining and crying. So I said, "Should we call Aunt Ju-Ju?" And Lily immediately stopped crying. After a few minutes she started up again and each time I would talk about Julie and even just say her name and Lily would stop. Finally I got Julie on the phone. As soon and Lily heard Julie's voice she stopped crying. Then as I was talking (Lily couldn't hear Julie) so she started crying until she heard Julie laugh at something I said, and then she stopped crying again!
